Assistant to The CEO/Research

​ ​​​​​      Kristen is the assistant of S-Firm C.E.O. Melinda Santiago, part of the research team for the Santiago Firm, a writer, Blog Talk Radio host, and a Social Media Strategist. A New Orleans native and lover of word-play, Kristen began writing and journaling at a very young age. Kristen was also very active within her church and community; proving to have a natural affinity for public speaking. She served in various leadership roles in her church, and as a weekend correspondent for WYLD AM 940's Teen Talk program, emceeing numerous events and engaging in various other facets of public address. Kristen went on to study English Literature at the University of New Orleans, which further fueled her passion for creative writing and honed her communications skills. After several successful years in both the sales and early childhood education industries, she took some time off to be "mommy".       

 

        In 2012 Kristen reemerged into the communications world with her self-conceived Blog Talk Radio segment "The Power Hour" which she hosts alongside Precious "Ms P" Owens Creator of "The NTuned Show" Internet Radio conglomerate. "The Power Hour" provides a forum to showcase individuals living out their dreams and aspiring to greatness, whether every day folks or celebrities. Kristen's vision is that the segment would act as a catalyst for listeners, illustrating that they too can achieve the unthinkable if they wholeheartedly pursue their passions. She also doubles as a "behind the scenes" social media strategist for several figures in the entertainment industry as well as a few start-up businesses, which eventually led her to cross paths with Melinda Santiago and the rest, as they say, is history (although still being written).  

   In her spare time, Kristen indulges in her passions of reading, listening to music, cooking, spending time with family, and watching culinary television programming. She has been married to Kodi for eight years and they have two children, a girl and a boy named Kayden and Kodi Jr.
